Grandma's New Room

Grandma is in her new room. It is still private and very large. She is adjusting as well as expected. The aids that she had before really miss her, they adored her, but I am sure the new ones will come to know her and feel the same way. She is still crocheting a lot. On Friday she walked 28 feet. She said "if they had told me how far I walked before I sat down I would have walked 2 more feet!"

WANTED!!!

Great-granddaughter wanted for stealing Grandma Lizzie's UK Bear. This great-granddaughter is 10 year-old Cassidy. (not hop-a-long but she does) She's about 4ft. 5in. She has brown eyes and blonde, luscious, curly hair. Last seen taking Grandma Lizzie's bear out of the room with Grandma Lizzie hot on her heels.

She has already finished one afghan and almost finished Jonathan's. As a matter of fact Jonathan's may be finished by now. We were there on Friday and she thinks she lacks 18 rows and may need another skein to finish. We have not been there this week yet as we are under seige by a major snow and ice storm.
She is doing quite well. The doctor says she can do full weight bearing which means the aids will be walking her at least 2 times a day. Her leg does seem to hurt a lot and she has gotten a doctors order for moist heat whenever she needs it. She is one tough lady. She endures more pain than probably all of us put together without complaining and/or taking any medicines.
